How to reach us
The Lake House is about 2 hours from Colombo international airport. We will arrange for a car to meet you at the airport. The cost is usually about $120 each way. Alternatively, you can fly by seaplane and land on the lake. This is available through SriLankan airways and costs approximately $100 per person.
Colombo international airport is served by direct flights from the UK, the Middle East, India and Singapore.
Sri Lankan airways flies direct from London to Colombo.
Qatar Airways and Emirates also fly to Colombo with a connection in the Middle East. Jet Airways flies with a stop in India.

Book for the rest of 2024 and for 2025 now. Don't be shy of the summer and autumn months which are usually lovely in Sri Lanka and it's a quiet time of year to visit.
The Lake House welcomes you for 2024 - there is some availability for New Year 2024/25 and it isn't too early to book for Christmas and New Year 2025/26. Sri Lanka is also lovely from June through to October and this is a time people forget about...
